You’re in the right place…

If sleep is feeling really unsustainable right now, you are not alone. Maybe you started contact napping simply to make sure everyone was getting the rest they needed. And let me guess, you love the contact naps, but you're also realizing that it no longer feels sustainable long-term and things are starting to feel really hard.

You know your child isn't getting the restorative sleep they need, and you're having a hard time because you can’t get anything done during the day.

You want to teach your child to sleep in their own sleep space, but you want to do it in a way where they still feel held, supported, and comforted throughout the process. The idea of cry-it-out feels overwhelming to you. And maybe you've already tried crib-side settling or other sleep approaches, only to feel like nothing is truly working.

We see you. Many of the families we work with come to us in exactly this place. Exhausted, overwhelmed, and wanting a gentler, more supported path forward.

If your child wakes immediately upon transfer, it doesn’t mean you have to resort to using the “cry it out” method to teach your child to sleep in their own sleep space. It’s possible to prepare your child for this transition so it’s much smoother.

How Our Method Is Different….

The sleep world is often split into two extremes, with cry-it-out on one side and attachment-led approaches on the other. Tiny Stars Sleep is intentionally positioned in the middle, where sleep can be both gentle and effective.

We keep this process gentle by first preparing your child for any sleep changes before jumping right in.

All the information you need in one place…

  • You started contact naps by preference or while in survival mode, but now if feels unsustainable and you’re ready to have your child sleep in their own sleep space, so your whole family can get the sleep they need.

  • Your child wakes the moment to transfer them to their sleep space and you’re worried they’re going to fall into an overtired state.

Welcome here

I’m Lauren, a certified sleep coach and the owner of Tiny Stars Sleep. I live on the west coast of Canada with my husband and our two kids.

I became a sleep consultant over five years ago after having my children and quickly realizing that children don’t just “sleep.” Like many parents, I went searching for answers and found so much conflicting information online, most of it pointing toward leaving your child to cry it out, which didn’t feel right for me.

That experience is what led me to create a different approach, one that supports meaningful, lasting changes in sleep without leaving children to cry it out. After supporting over 850 families, I’ve seen time and time again how my method improves a child’s sleep while also making a huge difference in a parent’s day-to-day life.
